In partnership with artco the exhibit themed "Our Planet" is on display from August 2-25 at the Gawler Gallery in the Ulverstone Civic Centre.

Heavy cloud abscured a geomagnetic storm. After the clouds had cleared, the air was perfectly still and the sky was bathed in the electric afterglow of the “storm”.

On a still night, auroral beams moved silently across the sky like ghost lights.*
*Foolish fire or will-o'-wisp is an atmospheric ghost light seen by travellers at night.
